3rd Annual Reavis Rams Hustle For Hope

Reavis will be hosting our 3rd Annual Reavis Rams Hustle For Hope 5K Run/1 Mile Walk – Kids Races.  Last year was a huge success and we are hoping to have an even better turnout this year.  The event will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2018 on the grounds of Reavis High starting at 9 am.  We envision this day to be a fun filled family day.  For more information and registration  at www.reavisramshustleforhope.com.  Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Class of 2022 Registration Update

All families are required to complete the online enrollment forms and to prove residency.  Any family who does not have at-home computer access can complete the process at a public library or here on campus in the Guidance Department.  Online registration will take approximately 10-15 minutes.  The residency requirement sheet is attached below.  Families must complete all steps before May 24th.

Student accomplishment!

Congratulations to senior student Claudia Kania who has been accepted to Princeton University and Columbia University! We are very proud of her accomplishments and are looking forward to all of her future endeavors.

2018 IHSA State Drama Champions

This is the 3rd year in a row our students and coaches have won the State Championship in Drama.

TEST-A-PA-LOOZA

Reavis Juniors are continuing the push toward their Khan Academy question and point goals in the SAT Prep Homerooms. The Class of 2019 has bolstered their total to 6.9 million points, and they're still going!!  All Juniors are invited to put in additional dedicated practice time at the TEST-A -PALOOZA that will take place in the Library after school.  These practice sessions will run Monday through Wednesday during the week before Spring Break- March 26, 27, and 28. The sessions will start during  RAM hour and they will continue until 4:00 pm. 

Save a life!

 Save a life…Donate Blood! Attention all students and staff!  Reavis High School will be hosting our spring Blood Drive on Friday March 23rd  from 7:30am - 2:00pm in the MAIN GYM.

Students can sign-up in Study Hall, PE, Health or Drivers Ed. classes.

Why donate?  You will receive a free backpack, earn points toward scholarship money for Reavis, but most importantly you can SAVE a LIFE!!!!

*You must be at least 16 years old to donate blood
*Weigh at least 110lb. and be in good health

World Down Syndrome Day

This Wednesday, March 21st, the Reavis community is going to recognize World Down Syndrome Day by wearing the colors of awareness, blue and yellow.  The date for World Down Syndrome Day, the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.

REAVIS DRAMA - SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS AND ADVANCING 2 SHOWS TO STATE!

Congratulations to the Reavis Contest Play on earning the SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and qualifying for state next week in Peoria! All Sectional cast included Teresa Estrada, Victor Casco, Isabel Sanchez, Isabel Perez, Amanda Przygonska, and Elise Surzyn as well as Lighting Operators Tyler Sikorski and Sylvia Bednarczyk and Sound Operators Alex Tomasik and Kylee Hozian.

Job Fair

“On Friday, March 2nd junior and senior students had the opportunity to interview with local businesses for part-time employment. Special thank you to Burbank Park District, Oak Lawn Park District, Target, Old Navy, Home Depot, Burbank School District 111, Sarah’s Pony Rides, Bed Bath & Beyond, EN Engineering, Old Dominion Freight Line, Four Seasons, and Brookfield Zoo!”

2018-19 Enrollment

Reavis High School is busy preparing for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year and all returning students are required to complete the online registration process.. Speech Team

Congratulations to the Reavis Speech Team on a very successful showing at the IHSA Individual Events State Tournament! Senior Teresa Estrada is a back-to-back champion in Poetry Reading and  placed 4th in Oratorical Declamation at the IHSA Individual Events State Tournament! Her hard work, talent, and dedication are undeniable.  Senior Janessa Mendez placed 4th in Humorous Interpretation, and junior Isabel Sanchez placed 5th in Special Occasion Speaking. These young women are AMAZING! Go Rams!!
