Junior Jelena Stojanovich was awarded a full Global Navigator scholarship for a High School Summer Abroad program!  She will be spending a month in Madrid taking daily language classes and experiencing the culture while living with a host family.  Congratulations Jelena!

Spring Choral Concert

Please join us in the Grossman Auditorium for the Spring Choral Concert featuring the choral ensembles of the Reavis Music Department; including the Class of 2018 in their final performance together. Admission is free. 

An Educational Presentation

Reavis Grad and owner of Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary provided an educational presentation for our science students on Monday 4/30. The event showcased four exotic animals: a Black Cap Capuchin, Mountain Coatimundi, Siberian Lynx, and a Red Kangaroo joey. The students and staff enjoyed a great, hands-on experience with these exotic animals!

STEM Day projects

Our Early Childhood Development Rams completed their STEM Day projects last week. Great job by both the preschool and high school students! Mr. LaMantia and Ms. O’Malley were very impressed with these future scientists. Check out the photos!


May 10, 11, 12 - CRAST Presents "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"! With Special performances by our Children's Theatre "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" on Friday and Saturday. ALL tickets sold at the door on the day of the performances!

3rd Annual Reavis Rams Hustle For Hope

Reavis will be hosting our 3rd Annual Reavis Rams Hustle For Hope 5K Run/1 Mile Walk – Kids Races.  Last year was a huge success and we are hoping to have an even better turnout this year.  The event will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2018 on the grounds of Reavis High starting at 9 am.  We envision this day to be a fun filled family day.  For more information and registration  at  Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Student accomplishment!

Congratulations to senior student Claudia Kania who has been accepted to Princeton University and Columbia University! We are very proud of her accomplishments and are looking forward to all of her future endeavors.

2018 IHSA State Drama Champions

Reavis Juniors are continuing the push toward their Khan Academy question and point goals in the SAT Prep Homerooms. The Class of 2019 has bolstered their total to 6.9 million points, and they're still going!!  All Juniors are invited to put in additional dedicated practice time at the TEST-A -PALOOZA that will take place in the Library after school.  These practice sessions will run Monday through Wednesday during the week before Spring Break- March 26, 27, and 28. The sessions will start during  RAM hour and they will continue until 4:00 pm.
