Students are strongly encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. Studies have shown that students who participate in extracurricular activities not only surpass their peers academically--they also become more adept in the life skills necessary for success after high school. Extracurricular programs help students develop time management and collaboration skills while building friendships and self-esteem. Most universities are looking for well-rounded applicants who make a positive impact on others. Reavis offers a wide range of programs, so there is sure to be something for everyone. More program information is available in the Student Activities Office, or email ksullivan@d220.org.
