Hello Parents/Guardians/Students:
We want to thank families for updating your learning plan choice through the most recent district survey. Students who have chosen hybrid--blue or gray teams can move to remote per parent request. Students who have chosen remote plans must remain in remote through March 26th, and they will have the opportunity to move to hybrid for the final marking period. On Monday, February 1st, Reavis will begin our hybrid learning model. Students who reside 1.5 miles or farther will be eligible for bus service. Due to COVID restrictions we will not be able to accommodate additional requests at this time. Bus information will be sent to all qualifying families by Friday, January 29th. The bell schedule (below) will be available on our website.

Other reminders
-
All virtual and in-person attendance will be taken by the classroom teacher. Beginning February 1st, students will not need to login into the website. All learners must be present virtually or in person since the expectation is to be synchronous with their class/teacher. Teachers will take attendance via PowerSchool in every class period.
-
Students MUST check GMail every day. This is important for all communication--especially if you have a substitute teacher who sends you a link to their Zoom class.
-
Students will need to charge their device each day. Any technology questions should be directed to SOS@d220.org.
-
The building will be open for any parent/student who requests in-person intervention time.
-
Office hours are dedicated to intervention, enrichment, and communication. It is an opportunity for students to engage with the teacher if/when they need extra help or opportunities to expand on the course. Students can also request to attend a Zoom meeting with a teacher during office hours, but they should do so a day in advance so their teacher(s) can plan for them.
-
The essential standards, learning targets, and assessments for all courses will be posted weekly to our E-learning website page. This will help families stay informed about students’ learning.
-
Please follow Reavis High School on Facebook and Twitter @ReavisPrincipal to stay up to date on Reavis communications.
We look forward to safely providing in-person learning for families who are ready to return, and we will continue providing synchronous learning to our remote students. Do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Julie A. Schultz
