Congratulations are in order for our first semester recipients of High Honor Roll and Honor Roll!
A total of 793 students achieved High Honors, earning a semester GPA of 3.50 or above.
Another 417 have been awarded Honor Roll, with a semester GPA of 3.00-3.49.
We are so proud of these students and their commitment to learning--keep up the great work, Rams!

The 4th annual AERO Karaoke competition is TONIGHT at 7pm at Oak Lawn Community High School. Three Reavis students (Charlize, Fiona, and Vida) will compete with three students from each of the other AERO schools in a fun and lively singing competition, with all proceeds benefitting the AERO Therapeutic Center!

Due to the predicted extreme weather conditions, Reavis High School will be implementing an E-Learning Day for Monday, 1/26.
All families and students have been notified via email, and we will continue to share updates as necessary.
Students are required to attend their virtual classrooms tomorrow, beginning at 7:55 am.

Good, Better, Best!
This Friday, let's honor our hometown team, the Chicago Bears, by adding some ORANGE to our BLUE & WHITE!
Chicago Bears attire is encouraged for all staff and students 🐻
Also, during lunch hours:
• Chicago Bears buttons will be sold for $1, with proceeds donated to the Chicago Bears Charity
• Photo backdrops and props will be available for fun pictures outside the student café
• Prizes will be awarded for the best Bears attire

Earlier this week, the Frosh/Soph Class sponsored a Friendsgiving event after school in our brand new Student Union, The Ram Den! There was pizza, games, a craft, and good times for all. If you missed it--be sure to catch it next year!

Yesterday, the Reavis RAMBLERS visited Feed My Starving Children. The group, organized by Kim Zaucha and Jill Atkenson pairs students with Autism with a neurotypical peer in order to encourage social connections and relationships. The mentors connect with their mentees at least twice per month, and they attend monthly meetings together during Advisory or Office Hours. Yesterday's trip provided students with a service and connection opportunity.

Reavis High School – District 220 would like to recognize our wonderful school board members who dedicate their time and expertise for the good of our students, staff, parents, and community. Without their guidance and leadership, Reavis would not be the special place it is today.

Yesterday, Mr. Davis and Mr. Faust took the Reavis Marching Band out to play at Burbank's Veterans Day ceremony held at McCambridge Veteran Memorial. Max Mszal played "Taps" beautifully, and the entire band sounded wonderful--even in the biting cold. It was a lovely ceremony.
