Today some of the wonderful students in our music department participated in the SSC Choir Festival. They performed, and then they participated in a clinic with choral professionals. What a great day for our kids!

It's National School Social Worker Week, and we'd like to acknowledge 4 of the best! Thanks to: Ms. Winiecki, Ms. Mata, Ms. Zaucha, & Mr. Kovacs for all they do for our students every day!

The Reavis Speech Team has made SCHOOL HISTORY. Congratulations to the students and coaches of the 2024-25 team on their IHSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. It is incredibly difficult to earn a team trophy in any IHSA state competition, including speech. This is the first ever for Reavis-in an event that we've been competing in since the 1950's. Details to come--but for now, let's celebrate THE WIN!

Speech Individual Event competitors are ready for round two of IHSA State Prelims! Go Rams! 🐏

The team won the IHSA Speech Sectional with 62 points and is the top seeded team going into the state finals this weekend!!

The Reavis Performance in the Round (PIR) took 3rd place at sectionals over the weekend, advancing to the IHSA State Tournament in Peoria!
Congratulations to directors Charlie Homerding and Lisa Frustaci and to the talented students involved: Joshuammi Arrocha, Gwendolyn Basil, Noah Burciaga, Sabina Cobo, Alexandra Czerwosz, Emiliano Espinoza, Alexander Ishiki, Salvador Izquierdo, Madison Mittler , Vida Rivera, Shawn Saldivar, Milo Soliday, Adrian Soto, Fiona Turner, & Leilani Villaseca-Centeno.

The Rams wrapped up their Chess season over the weekend.
Over seven rounds of play at the IHSA State Finals, Reavis took four state tournament wins, tying their record set last year.
Senior Brandon Van performed well enough to earn the second individual state medal of his career! He is the ONLY Reavis player to ever win two… and to do that on Board 2 is incredibly difficult.
Congratulations to Head Coach Mike Jebens and Assistant Coach Joe Carlini on another great season!!

Best of luck to the Reavis Chess Team as they head to the IHSA State Tournament in Peoria this afternoon! #RamsWill
