Reavis Familia! Diversity Club is inviting you to view our 2024 Día De Los Muertos Ofrenda THIS Friday from 4pm-6pm. Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a holiday usually celebrated on November 1 & 2 where family and friends gather to pay tribute to and remember their friends and family who have passed away. Please join us in celebrating and remembering our loved ones! Guests can enter at Door G, and Diversity Club students will guide you to the Ofrenda on our second floor.

Congratulations to the winners of Rampage Literary Magazine's Hispanic Heritage Month "Logo ReDesign" contest! These artists successfully combined what it means to be Hispanic and a Ram in new and exciting ways: Nunes Goita, 1st Place; Andrea Salamanca , 2nd Place; and Camila Gonzalez, 3rd Place. Honorable Mentions go to Christopher Ramos, Jocelyn Zaragoza, Neffertiry Zavala, Alejandro Hernandez, Isaac Velasco, and Osvaldo Ugarte. Thanks to all who submitted their artwork. A special thanks to Ms. Dulce Garcia and Dr. Banick.

Check out the MedConnect Group as they examine case studies of "patients" to determine what affliction is being presented and which diagnostic tests (via litmus paper) will best support their conclusions. Our Rams are choosing to explore, analyze, & collaborate after school!

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting guests via the Louis Viverito Senior Center for dinner & a show, sponsored by our National Honor Society.
Make your way to RHS tonight or tomorrow night to see the amazing cast and crew do their thing! 7pm, $5 at the door or in advance!

Today, the Rams visited Northern Illinois University to explore the campus and its programs. The Reavis Counseling Department organizes various college and career experiences for our students throughout the year as part of our Ram Ready program. Students, be sure to check SchooLinks to sign up for future opportunities!

The RHS Chess Team is starting the season with a bang! They defeated Shepard last week and Richards this week at both the Varsity and JV levels, making them 4-0 on the season. Both new and returning players are making a strong showing! #RamsWill

As part of our RAM READY College & Career program, the counseling department hosted a Business & Finance Career Chat during today's advisory. We would like to thank: Pamela Bettenhausen, Allison Bleakley, Sebastian Bohorquez, & Alan Guevarra for talking with our students about their careers in these fields.

Students had a great time last Friday evening at our first ever Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, sponsored by the Diversity Club.
THANK YOU to our community sponsors for the event: Maico's Bakery, Cecy's Chicken, Deliete Mexican Cuisine, and Tequila Mexican Restaurant.
